FURTHER READING
Here are some books that I recommend reading
for a greater understanding of Dinosaurs and the Expanding Earth. For your convenience, I've created links to on-line bookshops that
will allow you to purchase the books directly. I've bought books from these on-line bookshops with no problems at all.
You can also use the links to read the descriptions and reviews
of the books if you just want further information. I've given
enough information so, if you prefer, you can go to your local
independent bookseller and purchase the books directly from them,
or try to obtain a loan copy from a Library.
Dinosaurs and the Expanding Earth
by Stephen Hurrell.
Published by One-off Publishing (Great Britain) 1994. Reprinted 1996. ISBN 0 952 2603 01.
This is my own book which goes into the concepts presented on this web
site in greater detail. Serious readers will find that the book includes various diagrams, drawings and graphs to explain
the concepts more fully. Since I can hardly review my own book I have
added some reviews from scientific journals.

Dinosaurs, Gravity, and Changing Scientific Paradigms
by Theodore A. Holden.
Published by Bear Fabrique ISBN 09 755 39302.
This is another book about gravity variation by Ted Holden. I haven't read it yet.

Walking with Dinosaurs by Tim Haines. Published by BBC Worldwide 1999. ISBN 0 563 38449 2.
This is the hardback book of the BBC's Walking with Dinosaurs television series - which took 3 years to make, cost £6 million and so amazed viewers with its computer graphics that more people watched it than Coronation Street or Eastenders. The book, written by the television series producer Tim Haines, is illustrated with stunning photo-realistic images created by combining classic natural history photography with state of the art computer graphics. The backgrounds are from locations around the world where dinosaurs might have roamed - such as Chile, New Zealand and New Caledonia. The techniques for the computer generated images are the same as those pioneered for Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park.

The Dinosaur Heresies by Robert T
Bakker Published by Zebra Books (Eighth Reprinting 1996). ISBN 0 8217 5608 7.
Robert T. Bakker's book describes dinosaurs as agile active creatures
based on his bio-mechanical analysis of these giant creatures.
The New York Times Book Review said "Bakker's writing is as
sprightly as the agile dinosaurs of his theory, and his
drawings of galloping dinosaurs are a splendid complement
to his prose". Although it's never mentioned, this book gives an
excellent description of how life would move and evolve in a
reduced gravity!

On Growth and Form by D'Arcy
Thompson, John Taylor Bonner, Stephen Jay Gould
This is a classic work on why animals take the form they do.
It explains body forms in terms of their mathematical
and physical aspects. It details the effects of scale
on many forms of life and concludes that "the forms
as well as the actions of our bodies are entirely
conditioned (save for certain exceptions in the
case of aquatic animals) by the strength of gravity
upon the globe." First published in 1917 this work has
become so renowned for the poetry of its descriptions
that it has been recently updated and reprinted.

Earth, Universe, Cosmos by S Warren Carey
S Warren Carey is a major champion of the Expanding Earth theory. In his
most recent book, he clearly explains how the major features of the
Earth can be explained by an expanding Earth. His explanation for this
expansion is a mass increase of the Earth - the probable reason for
this is covered in his book. Earth, Universe, Cosmos builds the
foundation of a remarkable new Earth science for the 21st century.

Atlas of Continental Displacement,
200 Million Years to the Present : A Test of the Conventional
and Expanding Earth Models by H G Owen
H.G. Owen's book describes how his attempts to reconstruct the
continents in their prehistoric positions resulted in
spherical gaps where there should be none. In an effort to
resolve this problem he produced this atlas of the continents
on a smaller diameter Earth which results in the spherical gaps
disappearing.
